What is the difference between Air and Strength Sleeves?
Air Sleeves have been crafted from premium tissue paper and are designed for more delicate and smaller products, whereas strength sleeves are made from durable recycled paper and are designed for bottles, furniture, and larger products.
Are Flexi-Hex cardboard sleeves environmentally friendly?
Yes, Flexi-Hex provides eco-friendly packaging sleeves to support our approach to sustainability. They are made from recycled paper and contain no plastics. The materials are biodegradable and can be recycled at home once tape or other non-paper packaging materials have been removed.
How do I choose the right cardboard sleeve for my product?
Working out which cardboard sleeve you need largely depends on the size of the product you wish to protect. The sleeve needs to expand comfortably around the item, but make sure it is tight-fitting. If the sleeve is loose, then it will not protect the product as well as a smaller version will.
Do I still need to use an outer box with Flexi-Hex Cardboard Sleeves?
Yes, you will need an outer box once you have placed the cardboard sleeve around the product. The outer box will need to be tight-fitting to reduce the amount of movement during transport. If there is room for excessive movement, use paper to fill the gaps.
How do I stop products from falling out of Cardboard Sleeves?
A tight-fitting outer box will prevent the product from falling out during transport. You should also pinch and tape the open ends of the strength sleeve to ensure everything stays firmly in place.
